Manages social media accounts, blogs and web pages with a focus on driving engagement to generate leads and inbound phone calls. Creates and curates content and manages published content (social media postings, blogs, video, graphics, and web pages). Follows SEO principles and delivers the right content to the right audience. Listens and engages in relevant social discussions about company, competitors, and industry. This is a hands-on role.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Growth in # of leads and inbound calls generated
  • Fast and efficient ramp up of social media and organic web sources
  • Minimize acquisition costs
  • Daily # of leads and inbound calls generated
  • Cost per application out vs application premium to meet defined business unit goals


Role Based Competencies

  • Solid direct-to-consumer marketing fundamentals.
  • Expert managing social media, content and communication.
  • Experience creating, developing, and managing social campaigns to drive leads and phone calls – including copy and graphics.
  • Experience using technology for social media management and SEO.
  • Experience writing copy for social postings, blogs, web pages, and press releases.
  • Digital marketing experience – including various types of digital media development.
  • Strong business knowledge and background – understand and is able to articulate how company makes money; Insurance-specific knowledge is a plus.
  • Analytics minded – driven by financial results.
  • Familiar with technology and web development.
  • Project management skills – well organized and holds team members accountable for timely completion of tasks to ensure we hit product launches on time and under budget.
