How to Get Your Illinois Life and Health Producers License

If you are hired by AccuQuote as an Account Executive,  you are not required to obtain your Illinois Life and Health Producers License prior to your first day of employment. We’ll train you and pay for all licensing!

Becoming a licensed agent is easy. Simply follow these 3 easy steps:

  1. Complete all Pre-Licensing Requirements with the Illinois Department of Insurance
    • Pre-licensing requirements include 15 hours of classroom training (7.5 for life and 7.5 for accident/health).
    • Call as soon as possible to register for the class as pre-licensing requirements must be completed before you can sit for the exam.
    • The pre-licensing class is $120-$130
  1. Schedule the State Exam
  1. Apply for the Insurance License
    • Immediately mail a personal check for $180 payable to the “Director of Insurance” along with your application.
    • They can apply for their license online at www.nipr.com.
